IAF C17 Globemaster Leaves With Relief Assistance For Ukraine, To Bring Back Indians

New Delhi, Mar 2: An Indian Air Force C17 Globemaster left on Wednesday morning with humanitarian assistance for Ukraine comprising medicines and medical equipment. The Indian Air Force plane, which headed for Romania, will also evacuate Indian nationals from there.

The relief consignment comprises two tonnes of medicines, and medical equipment, including masks, surgical gloves, and also warm clothes, tents, water storage tanks, sleeping mats and solar lamps. India is sending the assistance following a request from Ukraine. This is the first C17 of the Indian Air Force being sent with relief supplies for Ukraine.
