Jammu: Joint security forces launched a search operation in J&K’s Udhampur district on Sunday following reported movement of unidentified persons in the area.
Officials said joint forces launched a massive joint cordon and search operation CASO) in the Jophar area of Ramnagar in Udhampur district following the reports.
The search operation was started following intelligence inputs regarding the suspected movement of 2 to 3 unidentified individuals.
Following the Input, joint teams of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, its Special Operations Group (SOG), and the army cordoned off the area and combing operations were started, which are now underway, officials said.
