Union Ministers Extend Teachers’ Day Greetings, Hail Educators For Shaping India’s Future

New Delhi: Union Ministers on Saturday extended warm greetings on Teachers’ Day, highlighting the crucial role of educators in shaping young minds, nurturing values and contributing to nation-building.
Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi took to his social media ‘X’ and said, “Teachers do more than imparting knowledge; they shape the future. Heartiest congratulations to the 82 teachers selected for the National Teachers’ Awards.
“Through their dedication, innovation and outstanding contributions, they are inspiring countless students across the country to dream bigger and reach greater heights. My heartfelt gratitude to all teachers who, every day, go beyond imparting knowledge to empower the next generation and strengthen the foundation of a Viksit Bharat. Warm wishes to all teachers on Teachers’ Day.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “On Teachers Day, extending warm wishes to our teachers who have paved the path for India’s perpetual progress by leading generations of students on the quest for knowledge. Also, I bow to the philosopher and statesman Bharat Ratna Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Ji on his Jayanti, whose enduring legacy serves as an eternal flame of inspiration for us to build a knowledge-rich India.”
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also extended heartfelt greetings and said, “On Teachers’ Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings to all teachers. I bow to the sacred memory of former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Ji, the great philosopher, profound thinker, and distinguished teacher, on his birth anniversary.”
“Teachers hold a position of immense respect in our society and have traditionally been revered as akin to God in our culture. They shape the minds and intellect of students, nurturing them with knowledge, values, and wisdom, and inspiring them to become responsible citizens. My heartfelt gratitude to all teachers for their invaluable contribution to society and the nation,” he said.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri, also extended gratitude and said, “On the occasion of Teachers Day, I extend my heartfelt gratitude and deepest respect to all teachers who, through their wisdom, dedication, and patience, shape young minds and mould lives. As mentors and guides who inspire and empower generations, teachers leave lasting imprints on young minds and influence lives far beyond the confines of classrooms and institutions.”
“On this special day, I also pay my humble tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. Radhakrishnan Ji, an eminent philosopher, academician, statesman, and India’s second President, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Teachers’ Day in India.
